In today’s world, safety is a value that stands at the very top of our hierarchy. Whether we are at work, at home, or anywhere else, we care about our own safety and the safety of others.

But what does safety mean in the context of our company?
Does the definition of safety sound the same to all employees?

We continuously strive to ensure the safety of everyone working at US Pharmacia. This is not just a slogan – it is our mission and our responsibility. Our actions are aimed at minimizing the risk of accidents, failures, fires, and other unwanted incidents.

How do we achieve this?

We start from the very first days of employment by introducing our employees to the specific areas and safety principles that apply within our company.

Unique Training for Everyone: From Prevention to Waste Management

Shared values, innovative training programs, and a strong focus on mindfulness support us in creating a safe workplace.

One of our proprietary training initiatives is “A Day with Safety”, during which our internal Trainers provide newly hired employees with training sessions tailored to their needs. These are not standard lectures – they are dynamic, engaging workshops that teach how to protect oneself from various hazards:

• “Safe Start – Prevention of Dangerous Situations” helps employees understand whether and how accidents can be avoided;
• “FIT Tests” use the sense of taste to demonstrate why wearing half masks in the workplace is important and necessary, while also teaching the principles of using personal protective equipment (see the cover photo);
• “Ergonomics and Manual Handling” teaches the principles of comfortable and safe work in compliance with applicable standards;
• “First Aid” provides practical, life-saving skills for emergency situations – this training block is delivered by our employees who are members of the USP Emergency Response Team;
• “Waste Management” introduces an ecological approach both in the workplace and beyond – being eco-friendly is important to us;
• “FUKS” focuses on near-miss incidents and how to prevent them;
• “Workwear and Safety Footwear” covers employee equipment and proper care to maintain the quality of work clothing.

During our training sessions, we use games and educational videos, making learning a truly engaging experience. There is no room for boredom when it comes to sharing knowledge about safety.
