Have you seen our job advertisement, noticed our billboard, or perhaps know someone who already works with us? No matter how you found out about us, what matters most is that you want to join our Team.

Recruitment processes may vary from company to company, so we would like to show you how it works at US Pharmacia. We hope this will help reduce at least some of the stress associated with recruitment.

Step One: The Job Posting

We begin our recruitment process by publishing job advertisements. Each posting includes a general description of the role, our expectations regarding experience and skills, as well as what candidates can expect in the position.

If a role catches your interest, the next step is to submit your CV via the application form included in the job posting.

Your CV Matters

All submitted CVs are reviewed to assess how well they match our requirements. We contact selected candidates, conduct a short phone screening, and invite them to a recruitment interview.

Most interviews take place on-site at our headquarters, but if this is inconvenient for you, we can also arrange an online interview via Microsoft Teams.

The Interview Stage

Recruitment interviews usually last about one hour. From the US Pharmacia side, the meeting is attended by a HR representative and the manager of the team we are recruiting for. Occasionally, an additional participant may be involved – you will be informed in advance if this is the case.

During the interview, we focus primarily on your professional experience. We will ask about your previous responsibilities, your role in current or past positions, and your hands-on experience. Each role requires specific skills as well as familiarity with certain tools, systems, or equipment – our questions will also address these areas.

In addition to “hard” questions, we will ask about the type of team you enjoy working in, what is important to you in a workplace, and the direction in which you would like to develop professionally.

You will also have time to ask us any questions you may have about working at US Pharmacia.

We Always Provide Feedback

We usually provide feedback on the outcome of the recruitment process within two weeks. All candidates receive feedback, regardless of the final decision.

The End of Recruitment – But Not the End of the Journey

If the recruitment process is successful and you accept our job offer, the next step is onboarding. You can read more about this process in a separate article.

Three “Maybes”

It may happen that we choose another candidate during the recruitment process. However, your CV remains in our database (if you have given your consent).

It may also be the case that:

  • a similar recruitment process opens in the future and we would like to invite you,
  • or a different position becomes available that we believe would suit your profile.

If so, we will contact you and let you know about the opportunity.
