{"id":2790,"date":"2024-06-25T09:42:13","date_gmt":"2024-06-25T07:42:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uspharmacia-cms.usp.dev\/fuks-a-program-to-eliminate-potentially-dangerous-events\/"},"modified":"2024-09-16T14:33:04","modified_gmt":"2024-09-16T12:33:04","slug":"fuks-a-program-to-eliminate-potentially-dangerous-events","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uspharmacia-cms.usp.dev\/fuks-a-program-to-eliminate-potentially-dangerous-events\/","title":{"rendered":"FUKS &#8211; a program to eliminate potentially dangerous events"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"text-blue text-md-24\"><strong>Introduction to the FUKS Program<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"text-18 text-thin text-blue\">Dangerous incidents happen to all of us.\nAlso at work, they cannot be completely avoided, fortunately, not all of them end in injury.\nSuch incidents are worth analyzing and taking measures to eliminate them.\nIn our company, a program for reporting so-called &#8222;near misses&#8221; was established as early as 2014.\npotentially accidental events.\nWe wanted it to be part of the culture of our organization, so we gave it a special name:       <strong>FUKS, or Fun to Avoid Every Harm.\nThis is a program that involves all employees in efforts to improve safety.\nIn a specially created application, we can report risks and propose actions to eliminate risks.  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"text-blue text-md-24\"><strong>Pyramid Safety &#8211; Scientific Evidence<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"text-18 text-thin text-blue\">Scientists have been studying accidents at work for years.\nAmong the researchers were.\nHerbert Heinrich, who worked on analyzing the causes and consequences of accidents.\nThe result of his research was the creation of <strong>the Safety Pyramid<\/strong>, a concept that was developed in 1931.   <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/uspharmacia-cms.usp.dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/1-powazny-uraz-1024x576.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1971\" srcset=\"https:\/\/uspharmacia-cms.usp.dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/1-powazny-uraz-1024x576.png 1024w, https:\/\/uspharmacia-cms.usp.dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/1-powazny-uraz-300x169.png 300w, https:\/\/uspharmacia-cms.usp.dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/1-powazny-uraz-768x432.png 768w, https:\/\/uspharmacia-cms.usp.dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/1-powazny-uraz-1536x864.png 1536w, https:\/\/uspharmacia-cms.usp.dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/1-powazny-uraz.png 1920w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"text-18 text-thin text-blue\">The pyramid shows that for every fatal\/serious accident, there are several times as many light accidents, for which there are several hundred near misses.  <strong>In a nutshell, this means that by eliminating unsafe events that did not lead to injury, you can make a real difference in reducing accidents.\nThat&#8217;s why it&#8217;s so important in our company to build a strong foundation and commitment from all employees to eliminate unsafe behavior and surroundings through FUKS reporting. <\/strong><br\/>In 2023.\nour employees have submitted as many as 328 FUKS!
