A Safe Workplace: The USP Emergency Response Team

Ensuring safety in the workplace is our priority – and we fully stand behind it. In addition to the activities carried out under the 2 Minutes program, which supports the development of a strong safety culture in our company, the USP Emergency Response Team operates at US Pharmacia.

How Did It Begin?

The USP Emergency Response Team was established in 2007. From the very beginning, its mission has been education and practical training in first aid. These activities are fully aligned with our organization’s mission and our commitment to protecting health.

The Role of the USP Emergency Response Team in Building a Safety Culture

The Team is made up of our employees. Their main responsibility is, of course, to be ready to provide first aid to colleagues at work. In addition, they take care of first aid kits across the company and deliver first aid training for newly hired employees.

Our Emergency Responders also undergo regular training to continuously develop and improve their skills and qualifications.

Every Employee Can Get Involved

Any employee who believes that helping others is an important skill, demonstrates empathy, and can remain calm in stressful situations is welcome to join the USP Emergency Response Team and develop their abilities in line with the team’s motto:

“I Can Help Effectively!”
