Privacy protection is one of the priorities of USP Group companies. As part of our activities, we strive to collect only the data necessary for our well-defined purposes, provide you with full information about the principles of personal data processing and your rights.

RODO – basic information

“RODO” – Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) – is a new piece of legislation that sets out the rules for the processing of personal data of individuals across the European Union. The RODO is effective as of May 25, 2018.

Who is affected by RODO?

  • any natural person whose personal data is collected or used by a USP Group company: USP Zdrowie sp. z o.o. or US Pharmacia sp. z o.o. or EU Pharmacia sp. z o.o.,
  • us, a USP Group company as the data controller responsible for the use of your personal data in accordance with the law,
  • other entities that process data within the European Union or offer their goods or services to EU citizens.

USP Group companies have taken many measures and efforts to ensure that your data is adequately secured. In our daily operations, we make due efforts to ensure that data processing complies with the requirements of the RODO and other data protection regulations.

How to report a potential breach of Personal Data protection?

The processing of personal data always involves the risk of certain events that may cause accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, modification of personal data, or unauthorized disclosure or unauthorized access to personal data.

Examples of such events include misaddressing an email, losing a paper document, or deleting data from computer memory.
