Not Just About Vitamins
Every year in April, we celebrate Health Day at USP. Over time, this event has become not only a tradition, but also one of the most anticipated days in our company calendar. And it’s easy to see why – we organize a wide range of activities centered around a holistic approach to health.
From body to mind. From nutrition to sleep. And this year… even our pets made an appearance!
Taking Care of Yourself
Meetings with a dietitian and quick BMI analyses allowed employees to take a closer look at their everyday habits. A lecture on the microbiome showed just how much our gut health influences wellbeing, immunity, and energy levels. We also learned breathing techniques – simple yet effective ways to calm the mind in everyday chaos. Relaxation was not forgotten either – physiotherapy massages turned out to be a real highlight.
Wellbeing, Sleep, and a Helping Paw
The topic of wellbeing at work attracted great interest – especially discussions about what we lose in the daily rush and how to regain balance. Many practical tips were shared that could be implemented immediately.
Sleep was another key topic – how to optimize it and why the quality of rest has become the new gold standard of health. We saved something truly special for the end – pre-veterinary first aid workshops. Demonstrations, hands-on exercises, and practical knowledge that could one day save the life of a beloved pet. This topic clearly touched hearts – and it’s likely here to stay.
Energy That Lasts
After a day like this, it’s hard to return to everyday routines without reflection – and that’s exactly the point. The day was intense, inspiring, and surprisingly practical.Health doesn’t have to be just a poster slogan – it can be a real part of life, work, and company culture.
At USP, it already is.
