In the Quality Control Department, we launched the Employee Forum – a space that brings together the knowledge and experience of employees to jointly build a safer, more ergonomic, and more comfortable work environment. It was created to allow everyone to share their observations and work together to find the best solutions.

This is not just another formal meeting. It’s a platform for real collaboration, where ideas translate into concrete actions and visible changes in our daily work.

The Forum Structure: Clarity and Practice

The Forum is held quarterly and consists of four key elements: an introductory training session, experience sharing, group workshops, and a presentation of results to managers and Health & Safety representatives. The goal of each meeting is to develop practical solutions that address the actual needs of the team.

First Meetings: From Theory to Practice

The first editions of the Forum showed just how much potential lies in teamwork. We focused on the onboarding process for new employees in the laboratory. Together, we created a safety poster that clearly communicates the most important rules in our workplace – from wearing protective clothing, to waste segregation, to understanding labels and procedures.

In the following session, we focused on working with laboratory glassware – a common but delicate material that requires special care. During the workshops, we tested gloves in emergency situations, reviewed best pipetting practices, and proposed new solutions such as an eco-friendly first aid kit.

Why Does It Work?

The Forum creates space for open dialogue and offers new perspectives on familiar topics. Thanks to the involvement of participants, we generate tailor-made solutions that truly reflect our working environment. It’s an approach where every voice matters and has a real impact on how we work every day.

What’s Next?

The next edition of the Forum is already in the works. This time, we will focus on emergency response, workflow organization, and the safe handling of chemicals.

Together We Change Our Reality

The Employee Forum proves that building a culture of safety is a process that begins with a conversation. Even small changes can lead to significant improvements in comfort and safety. And most importantly – everyone can be a part of it.
